Pollen Count Tops 9K

If 8,000 broke a record on Monday, Tuesday's count is blowing it out of the water.

The total pollen count for Tuesday is 9,369, according to the_ Atlanta Allergy Clinic. _

But what does that mean?
Technically, it means that there are 9,369 grains of pollen that will fall on a measuring device within a certain period of time.

A pollen count of  50 is enough to make allergy sufferers take notice, while a pollen count of 1,000 is considered extremely high.

On Tuesday, it’s the trees that are posing a problem. Beech, Birch, Oak and Pine trees are producing most of the pollen in the air.
