Solar Storm Could Interrupt Technology

Here's what you need to know about the solar storm headed for Earth Thursday.

Any time the Associated Press uses the words "Earth's magnetic field is about to be shaken like a snow globe" you know something is up.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, tomorrow's solar storm could interrupt utility grids, flights, satellite networks and GPS services.

But will Holly Springs residents notice? Probably not.

The AJC reports that northern areas are more likely to see disruptions.
