The endless repetition of these word problems has proved too much for someone who honestly doesn’t care about James, Chad, Mark, Eric or Juan. If you wanted to get it across to me, it should say something like this:
If Chanel came out with the suit in 1929 and Prada made the perfect mule in 1940, then how old was Grace Kelly when she first wore the red dress from Dial M for Murder?

That’s the kind of word problem I would understand.
Anyways, I was talking to my mom the other day and she said with my upcoming birthday, I’m almost half her age.

I’ll be 24. She is 53.
That’s not right. My mind raced. She was 31 when I was born so the only time I will be half her age is the two months between my 30th birthday and her 60th birthday.
Does that mean my studying is working?
If I had learned earlier in school that studying translated into higher grades, I would have been such a better student. For the first few years, I relied on sheer prayer and the notion that Jesus could do anything/tests are anything/Jesus can pass my tests.
