• Person airlifted after shooting in Wayne County, authorities say (wtoc.com) — Jesup police are investigating a shooting at Briarwood Apartments that left one person critically hurt and airlifted from a Wayne County hospital to Savannah. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video and following leads, and they’re asking anyone with information to call the Jesup Police Department and speak with Investigator Rhett Burford or Sergeant Michael Sutton.
