1 Killed, 1 Injured In Johns Creek Shooting: Police

JOHNS CREEK, GA — One person is dead and another injured following a Tuesday-morning shooting in Johns Creek, according to police.

Just after 7:30 a.m., Johns Creek police were called to a home on Bramshill Drive in the Hunters Forest neighborhood after receiving a report of shots fired, authorities confirmed in a series of tweets.

When police arrived, authorities said an additional shot was fired, though it's unclear who was the intended target.

According to police, one person was killed and another was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities did not specify if any officers were injured in the shooting.

A person is in custody, police said.
