  1. On Friday, Jan. 27, Gov. Brian Kemp announced SK Battery, a South Korean electric vehicle manufacturer, will open a new IT center in nearby Roswell, located at 1110 Sanctuary Pkwy. The center will create 200 jobs in the area. Gov. Kemp said, "This innovative company continues to bring the jobs of the future that will benefit hardworking Georgians in manufacturing, and now it will also tap into the tech talent our top-ranking universities provide."   2. Johns Creek High School's Kyle Vaka, class of 2024, is keeping his eye on Clemson University. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound junior was in touch with wide receiver coach Tyler Grisham over the holidays and might visit for the spring game. Vaka already has close ties to the university, with his sister enrolled as a student. Vaka said, "I'm paying close attention to the '23 [recruiting] class and the additions, and I see a bright future for Clemson. So, I'm [going to] keep working, and we'll see if or where I might fit in there." (The Clemson Insider)
  3. Fulton County's Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the United States, made Travel Lens' list of "78 Best Things to Do in Georgia." Visitors can walk through the awe-inspiring glass tunnel to see sharks and fish swim overhead. See interactive exhibits featuring over 100,000 marine species, shark-diving, or hang out with the local sea lions!
