2025 Johns Creek Literary Fair Author Applications Open Now for Local, Children's Writers; Deadline Sept. 1
NY Times bestseller Karen White will be keynote speaker for the Nov. 15 event, former Gov. Nathan Deal will be special "catnote" speaker

The 2025 Johns Creek Literary Fair is accepting author applications for its third-annual event Nov. 15. This year's festivities will be at a new location - inside Johns Creek City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive – with activities planned from noon-5 p.m.
Keynote speaker Karen White will detail her new release, “The Lady on Esplanade,” the third novel in the beloved author's Royal Street series. With nearly 2 million books in print in 15 different languages, she is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of 36 novels.
Former Gov. Nathan Deal will be the special “catnote” speaker, discussing his children’s book, “Veto, the Governor’s Cat.” An on-site cat adoption will add to the festivities.

A panel of renowned historical fiction authors also will be featured, along with themed snacks throughout the day.
Additionally, 20 local authors and 10 children’s authors will be provided space at tables during the entire event to sell their own books and keep 100 percent of the proceeds. Applications will be accepted until Sept. 1, with selections announced Sept. 15.
