The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) is pleased to announce that Justin Olear, vice president of Delaware’s Noble’s Pond, will be the featured speaker at the Atlanta 55+ Housing Council meeting Oct. 2. Olear and his team have spearheaded the continued growth and popularity of Noble’s Pond by creating new programs and home designs targeted for today’s active adult buyer. He will share strategies for long-term success in the highly competitive active adult market, and offer insights on what to expect in the future. His presentation is entitled “Revive, Relaunch and Reinvigorate Sales”. www.noblespondhomes.com

Located in Dover, Delaware, Noble’s Pond opened nearly a decade ago. A few years ago, the master-planned community was reintroduced to active adult buyers with a collection of new homes with flexible floor plans, sought-after amenities, a fulltime lifestyle director and a beautiful onsite design studio. Earlier this year, Noble’s Pond was named in the “Top 25 Best Value Active Adult Communities of 2019” by 55Places.com, a national, independent online resource designed to assist those searching for information on active adult communities throughout the U.S. The community also received a “Best of the Best” Award recently for Best Social Club from ideal-LIVING Magazine. It is one of 100 communities selected nationwide by a panel of judges.

“I think our membership will be very interested in Justin’s insights and experience in the 55+ market,” said Betsy Sheppard, director of strategy for Gilbert & Sheppard/ Immersion Active, and former Board Chair of the Atlanta 55+ Council. “My company has worked with Justin and his team for several years, and we have been extremely impressed with what they have accomplished at Noble’s Pond. Adults age 55 and over are the fastest-growing population segment of this century. The Atlanta 55+ Housing Industry Council offers educational resources, networking opportunities and more for HBA members involved in the building, design, development, finance, marketing and sales of active adult housing. Our Board of Directors works to develop a higher level of professionalism in our general membership through continuing education and the exchange of ideas about 55+ housing.”
