- The city is seeking applicants for the newly formed Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Committee. The purpose of the committee is to study and make recommendations to City Council. The recommendations will particularly be in relation to public art, cultural activities, and entertainment in Johns Creek. The committee will consist of nine members. Click the link to apply. - William Love from Westminster was victorious at the Georgia Amateur. The golfer came up short in the same tournament last year, but this time he was successful in his endeavor. - A vehicle's license plate was stolen while awaiting repairs last month. According to the victim, a woman from Cedartown, the car was parked in the lot of Creekside Auto Repair when the incident occurred. The vehicle had been in the parking lot for nearly a year due to a blown engine, which was later the subject of a recall. (Appen Media)
