Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:

  1. The City of Johns Creek announced that Bell Road is now open to traffic! The project, which includes removing and replacing the bridge over the Cauley Creek tributary between Rogers Circle (South) and Bellacree Road, is not 100 percent complete. The City asks residents to use caution in the area while some of the road construction continues. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia - Government via Facebook)
  2. A Johns Creek intersection project recently won an award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia. The project, the intersection at Brumbelow Road and Tuckerbrook Lane, won the Innovative Solution category of Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality Awards. 3. The Georgia Department of Education recently released the 2022-2023 lists of schools that "need improvement" and support. Most of the schools on the lists have a high concentration of students living in poverty. Fulton County has 11 schools listed, which is five more than the previous lists in 2019. However, the district said there are inconsistencies in the data: according to the district, one listed school has closed and another has no students.
