- Looking to get rid of your big and bulk items? The city of Johns Creek is hosting a Bulky Recycling and Clothing Collection Event today at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall. Bikes, clothing, shoes, small furniture, and large appliances will be accepted. Pre-registration is required. (City of Johns Creek Gov)
- Fulton County schools, including those in Johns Creek, are cracking down on behavior for the 2022-2023 school year. Officials have sent parents new rules and regulations in a 73-page Code of Conduct for the 2022-23 school year. The new and tighter rules are in response to issues on buses and in classrooms in the last few years. (Johns Creek Herald)
- A 17-year-old is facing 23 counts of terroristic threats after reportedly threatening to kill Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat and his wife on social media. Quartavius Mender made these threats online saying that he would kill the Sheriff unless a high-profile defendant in a RICO investigation known as Young Thug was released from custody. Mender was arrested on Friday morning. (CBS 46)
