Chattahoochee HS Senior signs with Morehouse College

CHS's Webb to Play DII Football at Morehouse

Chattahoochee High School's Max Webb has signed a national letter of intent to play football for Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Morehouse is a member of the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Webb has been a running back on Chattahoochee's varsity team since his sophomore year and has earned three varsity letters. In 2017, Webb was named an All Region and All Metro player, rushed 1344 yards for a school record, and tied school records for rushing TDs in a quarter (3) and in a game (4). In 2018, Webb aided not only the school’s running game with more than 100 yards per game and 7 TDs, but their passing game as well with 33 receptions for 432 yards and 4 TDs. Max earned a Team Captain distinction from his teammates, and was named a North GA Touchdown Club Player of the Year. Max also earned 4 varsity letters and a State Championship ring for Track, and a varsity letter for Basketball.

Max thanks all of his teammates and coaches, but in particular Coaches Strine, Malone and Hill, for helping him achieve his goal of playing football at the college level.
