Chattahoochee Senior signs with UT Chattanooga
Hooch's Sarah Flynn to play Volleyball at UT Chattanooga

Chattahoochee High School’s Sarah Flynn to play volleyball for UTC. Flynn has committed to play volleyball at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, competing in the southern conference. UTC has awarded her a full athletic scholarship.
Flynn, a varsity letterman and a two-time GHSA all-region first team member, has competed in volleyball for nine years. She began her journey at A5 Volleyball Club, ranked second in the nation. During her time as a middle blocker at A5 VBC, Flynn’s 16-under team won a club record 10 tournaments, including the 2018 USAV National Championship in the American division and the 2018 AAU National Championship in the Premier division, in which she was named to the All-American Team and selected as the tournament MVP. She also competed overseas in the 2019 global challenge in Croatia. In school, she received the academic athletic award all seasons eligible, as well the AP Scholar Award.

Flynn served as team captain her senior year of high school volleyball but was forced to step down due to an injury. However, she will finish her club career as part of A5’s nationally ranked 18-1s team before moving to UTC’s volleyball team to continue her playing career as a Division One college athlete.
