Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Police Chief Mark Mitchell recently visited the U.S.-Mexico border to learn firsthand about drug trafficking. Cheif Mitchell was one of over 30 Georgia police chiefs and sheriffs who made the trip. “Our partnerships and what we learn there is beneficial to bring back because at end of the day we’re all working together for the same cause,” said Chief Mitchell. - The replacement of the Rogers Bridge has begun. The original bridge structure was disassembled and removed earlier this month. The center span of the new bridge will be constructed and installed at the beginning of June, weather permitting. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia - Government)
- At Thursday night's City Council meeting, Councilmembers Bob Erramilli and Larry DiBiase, and the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce welcomed StretchLab to the city. StrechLab is a new wellness center that offers custom stretch sessions. It is located inside LA Fitness at the corner of Medock Bridge and McGinnis Ferry roads.
