Christmas Tree, Dreidel Lighting On Nov. 29 In Johns Creek
The city of Johns Creek will host its annual lighting ceremony from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newtown Park.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek on Thursday will kick off the holiday season with its annual dreidel display and Christmas tree lighting ceremonies. The city's event will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 at Newtown Park.
Residents can expect a visit from Santa and his reindeer, and local elementary school choruses will serenade the crowd with Christmas carols. Old St. Nick will hear youngsters’ wish lists, and free hot chocolate, s'mores and coffee will be available while they last.
If you want something a little more substantial, food truck Loaded Burger will be on hand selling burgers, wings and more. The youngsters can also partake in crafts, music and other children's activities. The festivities wrap up at 8 p.m.

Guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots to the event or to City Hall at 10700 Abbotts Bridge Road Suite 190. Donations are also accepted at the city’s fire stations. Donations are being accepted through mid-December.
