- The Johns Creek City Council has approved $3 million contracts to "improve multi-modal connectivity" along Jones Bridge Road between Douglas Road and McGinnis Ferry Road. The contracts include a $2,571,441 construction contract with Summit Construction and Development. It is part of the TSPLOST I project. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
- The City of Johns Creek's next infrastructure project, for the stormwater utility adopted in 2021, is to alleviate flooding in the Foxworth subdivision. The city has approved a $398,325 contract with Construction 57 and a $41,000 contract with Lowe Engineers. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
- The Johns Creek Police Department (JCPD) is investigating multiple people who used counterfeit $50 bills at the Walgreens on East Johns Crossing on Jan. 22. According to an employee, a man and woman reloaded a gift card for $300 with the fake $50 bills. Around the same time, the employee said another woman asked for change in the amount of $800 and gave the cashier counterfeit $50 bills. The JCPD has video surveillance footage of the suspects.
