Here are the top three stories today in Johns Creek:

  1. The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will be holding an After Hours Multi-Chamber Mixer tonight (Nov. 1). The event will be held at the Gas South Convention Center, and members of the public are welcome to attend. 2. If you have a superior palate for wine (or just enjoy the taste), the Alpharetta Fall Wine Festival might be right up your alley! The festival will take place on Nov. 5 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. about 30 minutes from Johns Creek and is open to those over the age of 21. With over 50 wines to sample, it should be a delicious time for all. (Awesome Alpharetta)
  3. Joni Mitchell fans are in for a rare treat on Nov. 6. The Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theater will be holding a show that will highlight some of Mitchell's most famous collaborations. These include work with such jazz luminaries as Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, and Jaco Pastorius. (Travel Cobb)
