  1. The Georgia Drug Enforcement Agency warned the community about a serious drug threat that is worse than ever. According to Special Agent in Charge Robert Murphy, drugs such as meth and fentanyl are found all over the Atlanta metro area. Murphy said Mexican drug cartels hide in plain sight in communities such as Johns Creek and Milton. The DEA said two drug cartels are still operating in the area. (WSB Radio)
  2. The City of Johns Creek is seeking volunteers to serve on City boards and commissions. Residents who are interested and who have the time, ability, and desire to actively participate on the boards can nominate themselves for board positions. Potential board members must reside within the city limits and be able to attend two-thirds of the meetings within a calendar year. Click here to see more details and the application.
