Drug-Laced Gummy Treats Alarm Johns Creek Police

"They look identical to what you can purchase in the store and what kids might have," says police.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Gummy worms and gummy rings seized recently has Johns Creek Police issuing a community-wide warning for parents.

The treats look like gummy candy that most kids would take without a second thought, said Capt. Chris Byers in a Facebook video.

"But, these are very potently laced with THC, which is the active ingredient in marijuana," he said.
