Emory Johns Creek to Host Blood Drive to Replenish Southeast Supply

The blood drive will be held Friday, November 4.

ATLANTA – Emory Johns Creek Hospital will hold a blood drive on Friday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to support the American Red Cross.

Hurricane Matthew greatly impacted the blood and platelet supply in the Southeast. According to the American Red Cross, the storm prompted the cancellation of 110 Red Cross blood drives in the country, which resulted in about 3,500 uncollected blood and platelet donations.
