- The former State Farm office campus in Johns Creek could be transformed into a mix of apartments, townhouses, offices, retail stores, and a "civic facility." According to a proposal by Toro Development Company, the development plan includes 800 apartments, 150 townhouses, and a variety of other spaces. Currently, the development timeline aims to conclude in 2027. The project is reminiscent of other nearby efforts to create walkable town centers in otherwise car-centric suburbs. - Runoff election results are in. Rich McCormick defeated Jake Evans in the GOP 6th Congressional runoff on Tuesday. McCormick will face Democrat Bob Christian in the Nov. 8 midterm election. Evans received support from former President Trump in a tele-rally on Monday night before votes were cast. (CBS 46 News)

The hiring is part of a bidding process that occurs every five years via the city. Other shortlisted candidates included NFP Retirement, Retirement Plan Advisors, and SageView Advisory Group.
