Four Hooch Students Receive Design Honors
The awards were presented at the Woodruff Arts Center last week.

The American Institute of Architects, Atlanta Chapter, recently recognized eight winners in the 8th Annual High School Student Design Competition at the Woodruff Arts Center, half of which were from Chattahoochee High School.
While numerous students from 18 Georgia high schools entered the competition, four of the eight winners were from CHS's Engineering Department, headed by Gregg Mervich.
First- through third-place winners received monetary scholarships, including Cole Christiansen who's design won second place and Trevor Clay, who placed third. Jack Cioffi and Christopher Sharp received honorable mentions.
After a presentation by Dr. William Carpenter, architecture professor at Southern Polytechnic University and founder of Lightroom, awards were presented by Theresa Ridley, AIA Atlanta Chapter President.
