Free Self-Defense Class For Women, Teens In Johns Creek
The Johns Creek Police Department will host the Recognizing, Empowering, and Defending Yourself class Nov. 17.
JOHNS CREEK — A free self-defense class for women and teen girls will be hosted Nov. 17 by the Johns Creek Police Department. Registration is required. The Recognizing, Empowering, and Defending Yourself (READY) program will offer safety and self-defense training for women and women and teenage girls to learn situational awareness and self-defense.
The class will run from 6 - 8:30 p.m. in the courtroom of the Johns Creek Police Station, 11360 Lakefield Drive. Space is limited. Register through Eventbrite.
Anyone who is a no-show without 24 hours notice will be prohibited from attending another class.
