Fulton Water, Sewer Rates To Increase Jan. 1

This phased, multi-year rate increase was approved in 2017 to fund improvements necessary for customers in the service area.

FULTON COUNTY, GA — Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, Fulton County will roll out the last of a three-year rate increase for water and sewer services.

This phased, multi-year rate increase was approved in 2017 and stemmed from a study conducted by a professional consultant as part of the Department of Public Works’ 2016-2025 Capital Improvement Program.

The chart below outlines the fees for the upcoming year, along with the rates from the previous two years:

Fulton County Commissioners in June 2017 approved an annual five percent increase in water and wastewater service fees to fund improvements necessary to continue providing water and treating wastewater to service area customers.
