1. The Men's Johns Creek high school golf team earned their sixth consecutive state championship. At the tournament, the team shot an 18-over score to win the Class 6A championship at Jekyll Island. They join Brookstone as the only other area school to win six straight championships. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
2. Primary Election Day in Johns Creek is on May 24th. Republican voters will choose between Betsy Kramer, Narender Reddy and Jill Trammell as the nominee for State House District 50. • Barnwell Elementary 4th graders had a great day STEAMing through learning! They learned about owls and then dissected owl pellets with Discover Science Center, did math with Huntington Learning Center and Mathnasium of Johns Creek did a fun art project, and made water bottle rockets after learning all about the engineering behind rockets with Alex Forbes, a researcher at Georgia Tech!
