Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Emory Johns Creek Hospital was ranked on the Fall 2022 Hospital Safety Grades report by The Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit watchdog group. The hospital was one of 24 in Georgia that received a "C" grade, scored based on 30 patient safety measures. Across the state, 18 hospitals earned an "A," while 15 scored a "B." Only two hospitals got a "D;" none were given a failing grade. (Patch)
- The Johns Creek Police Department is partnering with Honey Baked Ham and the Masjid Jafar Al-Rahmah Community Center to provide seven Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. The department is collecting family nominations online until tonight, Nov. 17, at 5:00 p.m. (Johns Creek Police Department via Facebook)
- Grapes & Grains raised nearly $16,000 for Cure Childhood Cancer, a nonprofit that funds research and supports patients and their families. The store raised funds at its annual Pappy Dinner and took to Facebook to thank guests for their donations. (Grapes & Grains via Facebook)
