Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Xavier Breland, the husband of missing Carmel woman Ciera Breland (Locklair), is being extradited back to Indiana. Ciera was last seen in Johns Creek on Feb. 24, 2022 while visiting family with her husband, their 5-month-old son, and their dog. According to the FBI, there is no evidence that Ciera ever returned home from Georgia. The FBI, the Johns Creek Police Department, and the Carmel Police Department are working together on the investigation. Xavier has been named a person of interest in the case and foul play has not been ruled out in Ciera’s disappearance. (WTHR)
- On Jan. 21, a man contacted the Johns Creek Police Department after a suspect threatened to release his nude photographs. According to the victim, a person posing as a female contacted him via Instagram requesting the photos. After the man sent them, the suspect threatened to release the photos to the man’s gym if he did not pay the suspect $400. Police told the victim not to transmit any funds and to block the suspect. Police also told the victim that the photographs will most likely be released. (Appen Media)
