Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Last weekend, the Johns Creek Fire Department hosted its awards banquet for the first time in three years. Award recipients were recognized for their achievements in the years 2019, 2020, and 2021. Mayor John Bradberry and Council members Larry DiBiase and Stacy Skinner attended the event and congratulated the men and women of the fire department. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia - Government)
- Today, Aug. 17, a portion of the Newtown Park walking and jogging trail will be closed for repaving. The playgrounds will also be closed due to their proximity to the trails. The project is expected to be completed by Thursday, weather pending. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia - Government)
