  1. Johns Creek High School was recognized during the annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known as the Shuler Awards. Debbie Prost, the Director of the Theatre Department, received an award for costumes for the school's production of "The Little Mermaid." This annual competition is in its fifteenth year and celebrates musical theater with awards for production, direction, and best performances. (SaportaReport)
  2. The State of the City address is set to be held Thursday, Apr. 27 at Chattahoochee High School. This event is open to the public and will be led by Mayor John Bradberry. Attendees will hear about the previous year's accomplishments as well as the city's strategic priorities for 2023.   3. U.S. Auto Sales, the Lawrenceville-based used car business with multiple locations in the northern metro area, is officially closing down operations. Employees learned about the closure Sunday evening in an email from the company's CEO, Bob Anderson. In the email, Anderson said that U.S. Auto Sales was unable to reach an agreement with their private equity owner and lenders. All employees are currently furloughed, although the loan servicing department for U.S. Auto Sales remains open. (11 Alive)
