- The Johns Creek Police Department is searching for Abdul Batin Rashid for allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend Heather Quiggle and her boyfriend, Jerrold Knight, at a Fulton County home yesterday, Dec. 19. According to police, Quiggle's son was at home during the incident and was able to escape to the neighbor's house when he heard gunshots. As of Dec. 19, both victims are in stable condition at a local hospital. Rashid is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Contact the police with information regarding Rashid's whereabouts. (WSB-TV)
- The Johns Creek Police Department and the Johns Creek Veterans Association have teamed up for the "No Man Left Behind Initiative" campaign. Chief Mark Mitchell said, "The No Man Left Behind Initiative is vital to the overall mental and physical health of our Veterans here in Johns Creek. Our collective goal of this program is to help these warriors with the mental and physical scars they received abroad and here at home."
