Johns Creek ALDI Reopening In March: Win Free Produce For A Year

The fast-growing German grocery chain's Johns Creek store will hold a sweepstakes for free produce for a year at its grand reopening.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — German-owned grocery chain ALDI is reopening its Johns Creek location in March, according to a release from the business. A remodeling of the store means a new layout and more refrigeration space.

At 10955 Jones Bridge Rd., the store will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening on Thursday, March 28. The 8:45 a.m. event will be followed by a Golden Ticket giveaway and a Produce for a Year sweepstakes.

The reopening comes as part of an accelerated growth plan with over $5 billion being invested in remodeling and expanding its store count to 2,500 before 2023, the release says. They're dedicating $1.9 billion to updating 1,300 U.S. stores before 2021.

"Compared to last year, 20 percent of the ALDI product selection is new. The ALDI product expansion is the next phase of the company’s aggressive, national growth and remodel plan," the release says.

"Our remodeled store layout makes grocery shopping even more efficient. Customers can easily navigate the ALDI aisles and find real savings on every trip," said Shaun O’Keefe, Jefferson division vice president for ALDI. "We’re eager to reveal the new look of ALDI to Jefferson, where we already have passionate, loyal customers," according to the release.

The fast-growing chain aims to add 25,000 jobs to the market in stores, warehouses and offices.
