- The Johns Creek City Council recently re-approved the renewal of an agreement to share the radio system with Fulton County. The renewed agreement will cover the use of the 800 MHz digital radio system from Jan. 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, 2026. (Subscription: Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Federal, state, and local agencies are investigating the Nov. 30 fake calls of an active shooter on school campuses across Georgia, including Fulton County. The fake calls are called "swatting" and Gov. Brian Kemp called the incidents "domestic terrorism." In a statement, Gov. Kemp said the people behind these calls will be caught and will face charges.
