Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:

  1. Yesterday, May 1, the Johns Creek Fire Department battled a fire that destroyed a two-story home off Winherst Lane. Even with the extra help of Gwinnett County firefighters, only the skeleton of the home and rubble remain. It was unknown if anyone was injured in the fire. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. On Saturday, May 6, the Kimball Bridge replacement project over GA 400 will begin. There will be road changes due to construction, including lane shifts and reduced speeds on Georgia 400 starting May 6 and a year-long closure of Kimball Bridge Road between North Point Parkway and Northwinds Parkway beginning May 8. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia - Government via Facebook)
  3. On Apr. 29, the Johns Creek International Festival drew thousands of visitors for its fifth year with performances, food, and vendors representing countries from around the world.
