And the Johns Creek City Council made some major decisions to improve the community, including the Town Center project, TSPLOST II, Cauley Creek Park, and the Arts, Culture & Entertainment (ACE) Committee. - Johns Creek Mayor John Bradberry wrote about Johns Creek's many accomplishments in 2022. Bradberry said this past year was "filled with much progress and achievement." He described the highlights of the five strategic initiatives that were decided at the City Council retreat in January 2022, including the Town Center, TSPLOST II, Tech Park, and the Legacy Center. Bradberry fully expects "2023 to be another year full of challenges and opportunities to further advance our community" and he wishes the Johns Creek community a happy and prosperous New Year. - Haynes Bridge Road re-opened yesterday, Dec. 27, but the City of Johns Creek advises drivers to use caution in the area. On Sunday, Dec. 25, Haynes Bridge Road between Haynesbrooke Lane and Alvin Road was closed due to a large water main break. The water was shut off and crews worked on the roadway until the afternoon of Dec. 27. (City of Johns Creek)
- The City of Johns Creek announced Park Place will be closed from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30 due to a broken pipe in the building. All activities and programs are canceled for this week. (City of Johns Creek)
