Johns Creek Opens Cricket Batting Cages At Shakerag Park

JOHNS CREEK, GA — City staff and community members marked the opening of three new cricket batting cages at Shakerag Park June 11 – the first of its kind in a city park in the Southeast region.

The Johns Creek Recreation & Parks Division worked with the city’s Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee members to bring the cricket batting cages to the northern end of Field Two at Shakerag Park.

Cricket batting cages are open for use during normal park hours and residents are welcome to play on a first-come, first-serve basis.
