The Johns Creek Police Department is offering women Safety and Self-Defense classes to teach situational awareness and self-defense.
The women's class is set for 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 10.
The classes are taught by Sgt. Debbie Kalish and Sgt. Ben Finley of the Johns Creek Police Department. Both are experienced Defensive Tactics instructors with more than 30 years combined law enforcement experience.

The classes, which are free, are taught at JCPD headquarters at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
