Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:

  1. On Nov. 9, a Johns Creek woman reported a road rage incident that occurred at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Buice Road. According to the police report, a man in a gray Tesla threatened to shoot a woman who honked her horn at him when he did not move at a green light. Police are searching for the individual, but the registered owner of the vehicle was a third-party business, and police receive a busy signal when they called the company. (Appen Media)
  2. Democrat Raphael Warnock won the Senate runoff race against Republican challenger Herschel Walker after votes from metro Atlanta propelled him into the lead. Warnock told supporters on Tuesday night, "You are sending a clear message to the country about the kind of world we want for our children." Walker thanked his supporters and said they "put up one heck of a fight." Click here for details on the election results from the Fulton County website. (WSB-TV 2 Atlanta)
  3. Tonya Monroe, of nearby Sandy Springs, was found guilty of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, cruelty to children in the first degree, and distribution of methamphetamine. Monroe has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for murdering her nine-month-old grandson Kobe Shaw by poisoning him with methamphetamine in 2016. (Fox 5 Atlanta)

Are you a Johns Creek resident looking for an investment alternative to the stock market? Consider fine art. Masterworks is the award-winning platform helping 575,000+ invest in works by the same world-renowned artists that are coveted by ultra-wealthy collectors and major museums alike (think Picasso, Basquiat, and Banksy.) Masterworks splits these multi-million dollar works into shares, so you can invest without breaking the bank.

Contemporary art has outpaced the stock market by a whopping 131% over the last 26 years. Seven of Masterworks’ eight sold paintings gave their investors a +17.8% net returns*.
