- On Thursday, Nov. 17, Johns Creek residents and those who travel through the city are invited to a public meeting about the Sargent Road at Ashwick Place intersection improvement project. Attendees will learn about the proposed improvements and are invited to provide input. The meeting will start at at 6:00 p.m. at Johns Creek City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive. Meeting materials and an online comment form will be available here on Nov. 17 for those unable to attend in-person. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
- A Fulton County mother spoke to Channel 2 and said she is "furious" a student who allegedly threatened to murder her daughter on social media was allowed to come back to the Fulton County School District school. The teenage boy received a four-day suspension from Cambridge High School, but the victim's mother said, "He should have been expelled from school. This is unbelievable. These are adults, and they're not taking this serious, I'm just saying how many tragedies do we have to have?" (WSB-TV 2 Atlanta)
- The Johns Creek City Council recently approved the appointment of three new members to the Johns Creek Vitality Advisory Committee; an 11-member committee originally named the iHeart Johns Creek Advisory Committee which makes recommendations to the city council related to healthcare innovation and wellness.
