Johns Creek School On Lockdown, Armed Robber Loose: Report
Findlay Oaks Elementary School has been put on a hard lockdown as authorities search for an armed robber, according to a report.
JOHNS CREEK, GA — A Johns Creek elementary school is on hard lockdown Tuesday, while law officials search for an armed robbery suspect, reported WSB-TV.
Findlay Oaks Elementary School shared a statement to parents, saying that all students are safe and secure, reported the news station.
According to WXIA the suspect is accused of robbing a bank in Forsyth County. Sheriff's Office spokesperson Stacie Miller told the news station there was an armed robbery around 6:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank located at 3611 Peachtree Parkway.
