Johns Creek Symphony to present "On Broadway!"
featuring soprano Jessamyn Anderson in some of the stage's most memorable hits on March 25 at 7:30 pm

Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, known for outstanding symphonic concerts across North Georgia, will perform “On Broadway” on March 25, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at Johns Creek United Methodist Church located at 11180 Medlock Bridge Rd in Johns Creek, GA. Tickets, ranging in price from $20-47, can be purchased online at www.johnscreeksymphony.org or by calling (678) 748-5802. This concert is generously sponsored by Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
From classic Broadway ballads to upbeat show tunes, “On Broadway” will bring the contagious feelings of song and dance to Johns Creek community! The orchestra will feature soprano Jessamyn Anderson, who is known for her work with the Great American Songbook as well as her musical theatre and opera performances. Anderson will make her debut with the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra singing tunes from My Fair Lady and The King & I. She will also perform arrangements of songs from her album, There Is A Season.
“The North Georgia and Metro-Atlanta communities have large musical theatre and performing arts scenes, and our ‘On Broadway’ concert will echo the love that our communities have for Broadway,” said Linda Brill, Executive Director of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. “We are excited to perform a variety of musical theatre pieces with Jessamyn Anderson,” she added.

Soprano Jessamyn Anderson is a multi-talented singer and speaker known for her diverse range of vocal skills spanning musical theater, the Great American Songbook, and classical repertoire. Her career highlights include releasing her debut album in 2019 and earning a spot in the quarterfinals of the American Traditions Vocal Competition. She has also performed with the Indiana Wind Symphony, toured the country with Love Good, and played various roles with the Ohio Light Opera and IU Opera, with her favorite role being “Nellie Forbush” in South Pacific. During the pandemic, Jessamyn hosted a series of "Quarantine House concerts" on Facebook and YouTube.
“On Broadway” is a concert performance that is part of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra’s 16th concert season, entitled Resilient Spirit, Resounding Season --which aims to reflect and showcase the culture and strength of the Johns Creek regional community.
