- A woman from Johns Creek reported her purse stolen from a grocery cart at Kroger on State Bridge Road on Apr. 23. Though she initially thought she misplaced the purse, she later realized her black Apple Watch was also missing, and subsequently pinged the location to a site on Jones Bridge Road. However, Johns Creek police were unable to locate the stolen bag, as no one had turned in or seen a purse matching the description, and Kroger employees reported they did not have access to security footage. - Calling all young car lovers: Johns Creek's popular "Touch-A-Truck" event is back on Saturday, May 20! The free, family-friendly event will be held at City Hall between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Kids are invited to climb on and explore big rigs, backhoes, and other large machines.
