- The City of Johns Creek is hosting its "Easter Bunny Hop" event on Friday, Apr. 7, at North Pond in Creekside Park. The free, family-friendly event will take place between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with an interactive walk, vendors, a DJ, and the Easter Bunny. Kids can take a picture with Mr. or Mrs. Easter Bunny. Families should bring their own cameras and baskets for collecting eggs. (Johns Creek Calendar)
- The Johns Creek Police Department is investigating a theft reported by a Johns Creek resident on Mar. 23. The victim told police that contents from his wallet were stolen at Lifetime Fitness off Johns Creek Parkway. The victim said his belongings were locked in the men’s locker room, but when he returned from working out, his credit card and $150 in cash were missing. (Appen Media)
- On Mar. 18, the Northview High School Genetics Engineering Club held a student-led Interschool Genetics Symposium at the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. More than 50 students, parents, and residents attended the event, which focused on increasing awareness of STEM careers in genetics and science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
