“The Class of 2024 has completed a six-year program designed to foster the mother-daughter relationship through active community service and instill a sense of compassion and drive to serve those in need within our community,” said Trisha Vollandt, NCL Northeast Atlanta Chapter President. “It has been a privilege to watch the girls grow into confident, young adults. We are so pleased that their years with NCL have helped prepare them to serve, lead, and be successful.”
During the event, each senior Ticktocker was individually presented on stage in a traditional white dress ceremony that included a tribute to the girls’ mothers with whom the Ticktockers completed six years of community service and leadership projects. Together, the 17 young women of the 2024 Ticktocker class, along with their mothers, volunteered more than 6700 hours at 25 local charities, including the American Heart Association, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House, Blessings in a Backpack, Camp Twin Lakes, Chattahoochee Nature Center, CURE Childhood Cancer, Foster Care Support Foundation, Inc., FurKids, Jesse’s House, Meals By Grace, North Fulton Community Charities, Operation Gratitude, Rainbow Village, Sunrise Senior Living, and The Sandwich Project.
