  1. Police say a man from Johns Creek burglarized a metro Atlanta restaurant after being asked to leave by the owners earlier this month. The incident occurred on Jun. 5 at the Hen Mother Cookhouse, where suspect Jack Wade was captured on a security camera throwing a planter through the restaurant's glass door in order to break in. According to the restaurant's owners, Wade had previously been issued a criminal trespass warning for the business complex. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. The Emory Johns Creek Parking Deck was recognized as a first-place winner in the prestigious Build Georgia Awards. The Associated General Contractors of Georgia annually issue the award to recognize member construction firms for outstanding achievements in construction.
