  1. The City of Johns Creek will be holding public hearings as they work on establishing the 2022 millage rate. Hosting a public hearing before selecting a millage rate is required by Georgia law. The meetings will be held on Jul. 25 and Aug. 15. (Forsyth County News Online)
  2. A Johns Creek man has reported his child's cell phone stolen from his car while it was parked in the driveway of his home on Merganser Lane. The man explained to the police that the child could not bring the phone to his summer camp and had left it in the car. When the phone's owner attempted to track the phone, he could not do so beyond its last position in the driveway. (Appen Media)
  3. Local Johns Creek athlete Arjun Sharma got to run the Final Leg of the Torch Run at the Special Olympics. Sharma was one of six athletes selected to participate alongside 82 police officers from around the county. The Johns Creek Police Department was also present to support Sharma during his big moment.
