New Alcohol Licenses Would Allow Johns Creek Businesses To Offer Free Drinks

Some businesses in Johns Creek will be able to serve free alcoholic drinks under a new alcohol beverage license.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — A new alcohol beverage license would allow some businesses to serve free alcohol in Johns Creek.

Licensing for retailers offering alcohol to customers at no charge is $100. Johns Creek approved a list of fees for new types of alcohol beverage licenses during a Monday meeting. Businesses would obtain a $100 license to offer alcohol to customers for free.

Community Development Director Ben Song told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution that businesses that don’t serve food and who have limited gross revenue could qualify for the new license.
