Now Open: Morton Road at Jones Bridge

Morton Road at Jones Bridge Road in Johns Creek re-opened Oct. 31 after being closed since September for extensive improvements and repairs.

The City added turn lanes and sidewalks on Morton Road at the intersection of Jones Bridge Road. Jones Bridge Road remained open during construction but about 500 feet of Morton Road was closed.

More work remains on the intersection. The City plans to widen and repave Jones Bridge Road, build more sidewalks and trails, and install a traffic signal. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The improvements, part of a series of projects on Jones Bridge Road, are designed to improve traffic flow and safety for pedestrians and motorists.
