- Johns Creek-based Saia LTL Freight is expanding with its Northern Illinois operations. The company is focused on providing customers with direct shipping points and this 179th terminal aids in that mission. Saia plans to open two more terminals this month. (GuruFocus.com)
- The public is invited to share their thoughts on the possible reconstruction and widening of McGinnis Ferry Road. The widening includes a buffer that will be replanted with native grasses once the construction is complete. The public has until Jul. 14 to comment. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Johns Creek residents have been alerted to a warrant scam being operated over the phone. The reported phishing call claimed the victim had failed to appear for jury duty and needed to wire $1,000 to avoid prosecution. The caller may be identifying himself as Lt. Solis with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. (Appen Media)
