1. Some Johns Creek residents should prepare for a planned water outage. The outage will affect those in the vicinity of Barnwell Road and Holcomb Bridge Road. Residents along the highlighted roads will likely be affected. 2. Police in Johns Creek are searching for Javonte Jarrett, a 28-year-old man who is possibly armed and dangerous. Jarrett ran away from the scene of a domestic dispute at Northhaven at Johns Creek Apartment Complex, and police later discovered he has pending charges against him for crimes such as kidnapping, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and rape. Authorities are urging the public to call 911 if they see him and have described him as 6’ and 215 lbs., wearing a purple shirt, and believed to be in the area between Kimball Bridge, State Bridge, and Jones Bridge roads. 3. A Tex-Mex concept restaurant will be opening its first brick-and-mortar franchise location in Johns Creek. The Tampa, Florida-based concept Capital Tacos will be opening its first location this month, and a second location is set to open in the next few weeks.
