Here are the top three stories today in Johns Creek:
- The Johns Creek Police Department is warning residents about a scam that's hit the area. People around Johns Creek are receiving phone calls claiming to be from the police department or some other similar government agency. During these calls, people are asked to buy gift cards for these organizations - and those generous enough to give end up being scammed. If you've experienced this scam, please contact the authorities. (Johns Creek Police Department via Facebook)
- The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce has a busy schedule planned for the week. It's just released its upcoming Events Calendar, which you can view at the link. If you want to get involved and learn about what's going on in the Johns Creek Community, this is a great opportunity. Activities include Membership Committees, Business After Hours, and weekly Network Events. (Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce via Facebook)
- Park Place set up a fun-filled day for its senior citizens this week. On Thursday, the active adult center gave its residents a special day, including a delicious Halloween-themed luncheon and a pumpkin decorating contest!
